What does Wix really cost a store each month?
A $20,000/month store pays $729 a month on Wix, on the Core plan, with card processing, fees and tools counted. On Waise Growth the same store pays $759, $30 more. The full breakdown at three sales levels follows, with a source and date for every figure.

How Wix charges
- Wix displays yearly-billed prices only: Core $29, Business $39, Business Elite $159 a month. The other platforms here are billed monthly, so Wix looks slightly cheaper than a like-for-like.
- Wix Payments, US cards: 2.9% + 30¢ for a standard card. The fees page names only the processing service fee, with no separate Wix commission on sales.
- There is no sales cap, so we count Core at every size: the cheapest plan that takes payments and has abandoned carts. Business adds commerce features a large store may want, and those are not counted.
- Quantity discounts: through automatic discounts, up to 10 quantity discounts a site, and only one automatic discount per purchase.
- Email: 200 free a month, and automations count against it. Email plans are sold separately from site plans.

Questions
Does Wix charge a commission on sales?
Wix’s official fees page names only the Wix Payments processing fee. We found no separate Wix commission on it.
Why is Wix’s price the yearly-billed one?
Because it is the only price Wix displays on its plans page. We could not verify a monthly price.
Does the Wix total include email?
Only up to the free allowance. Beyond that you need an email plan whose price we could not verify, so it is not counted.
