Waise vs Squarespace
Squarespace builds beautiful websites, and a store is one part of them; its Basic plan adds a 2% fee on sales. Waise builds only online stores: one flat plan from $29 a month, 0% of your sales, run by chat. Choose Squarespace when design and content lead the site, and Waise when selling does.

Where Squarespace is better
- Design and templates Squarespace is known for designer templates and a drag-and-drop editor. If your site is mostly a brand site, a portfolio or content, with a small store, it fits very well.
- Content, memberships and invoices Per its pricing page, you can sell content and memberships and send invoices.
- A lower entry price billed yearly Its Basic plan is $12 a month billed yearly, though with a 2% fee on store sales.
- Track record Waise is new and small. If years of track record, an agency network and a huge app market matter most to you, they are ahead of us.
Where Waise is better
- 0% fees from the first plan On Squarespace, the Basic plan adds 2% on store sales, and it drops to 0% only from Core. On Waise: 0% on every plan.
- What others sell as apps is included Reviews, bundles, cart upsell, abandoned carts, a customer club and email, in the plan: what you would otherwise buy as Judge.me, Kaching Bundles and the like.
- Pulse acts end to end Pulse acts inside your store, with a preview and undo, and every tool is included in the price.
- The money goes straight to you Through your own Stripe or PayPal. The money never passes through Waise, and you settle the processing rate with your processor.
- Leave with everything Cancel anytime, and take your products, customers and orders with you in files.

The online store that runs itself, with brakes
- AI that acts, with brakes. Pulse changes orders, prices, discounts and content from one conversation. A sensitive change first shows a before-and-after card and waits for your approval, and almost any change can be undone.
- Your money is protected on the server, not by a promise. Anything touching money needs a confirmation tied to the exact values you saw, and the margin guard blocks a price below your minimum, even when an outside AI asks for it.
- Profit, not just sales. An order counts only once your payment provider confirms the money, and profit is worked out after fees, shipping, cost of goods and refunds.
- Open to your own AI. Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini connect to your store over MCP and pass through exactly the same brakes.
- Five ways to build, one system behind them. A ready theme, designing by chat with Pulse, your own code, outside builders like Lovable or Webflow, or your own AI. Checkout, orders, customers and money stay in one place.
- 0% of your sales. One flat monthly plan. When your store grows, our cut doesn’t, because there isn’t one.
- Built by someone who sold. Or Avrahami, a practical electronics and computer engineer, ran an online store on Shopify and built what that store needed. That became Waise.
