Which ecommerce platform includes an AI assistant at no extra cost?
Shopify includes Sidekick on every plan, Squarespace meters its AI in credits, and Wix offers Aria and AI tools. Waise includes Pulse on every plan, from 100 conversations a month on Basic to 5,000 on Company. Of the five, only Waise and Squarespace publish their limits in numbers.

Monthly quotas, per store.
What Pulse can do
- Answers from your store’s data: orders, sales, stock, customers and traffic
- Takes actions: marks an order as shipped, drafts a product, sets discounts, updates prices and stock
- Builds the store with you and suggests page sections
- Previews changes and logs every one
What Pulse can’t do
- It doesn’t make a sensitive change without your approval
- It can’t undo everything: a cancelled order, a manual payment or a sent email stays
- It doesn’t go past the asker’s permissions: staff without access to profit won’t see profit
- After the quota runs out it handles only set commands, not free-form requests
- It doesn’t replace an accountant, a lawyer or your own judgment
Who this suits, and who it doesn’t
A good fit
- An owner who wants to run the store by chat with a clear, published quota
- A merchant who wants an assistant that takes actions, not just writes copy
- A small store with nobody on daily operations
Pick something else
- A Shopify merchant happy with Sidekick: no reason to move just for an assistant
- Someone mainly after a brand site with copy and images: Squarespace or Wix fit well
- Anyone wanting an agent that acts with no human check: Pulse waits for approval on sensitive changes
Questions
What happens when Pulse’s quota runs out?
You get a warning at 80%. When it runs out, set commands such as “how many orders today” keep working until it renews on the 1st. You can add a Pulse pack or connect your own key.
Can Pulse make changes without approval?
A change that touches money or what customers see is shown first and waits for approval. Most actions can be undone, but not all: a cancelled order or a sent email stays.
What AI model runs Pulse?
By default, Waise provides Claude models within your quota. You can also connect your own Claude, Gemini or ChatGPT key.
The online store that runs itself, with brakes
- AI that acts, with brakes. Pulse changes orders, prices, discounts and content from one conversation. A sensitive change first shows a before-and-after card and waits for your approval, and almost any change can be undone.
- Your money is protected on the server, not by a promise. Anything touching money needs a confirmation tied to the exact values you saw, and the margin guard blocks a price below your minimum, even when an outside AI asks for it.
- Profit, not just sales. An order counts only once your payment provider confirms the money, and profit is worked out after fees, shipping, cost of goods and refunds.
- Open to your own AI. Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini connect to your store over MCP and pass through exactly the same brakes.
- Five ways to build, one system behind them. A ready theme, designing by chat with Pulse, your own code, outside builders like Lovable or Webflow, or your own AI. Checkout, orders, customers and money stay in one place.
- 0% of your sales. One flat monthly plan. When your store grows, our cut doesn’t, because there isn’t one.
- Built by someone who sold. Or Avrahami, a practical electronics and computer engineer, ran an online store on Shopify and built what that store needed. That became Waise.
