My domain isn’t connecting. What now?
Read the status on your address, check the common DNS mistakes, and ask Pulse or support if it still won’t go live.
Open Settings, then Domain and business mail. Each address shows a status, and a line under it that says what Waise is waiting for.
Start with the status
- Waiting for ownership proof: add the TXT record. It proves the address is yours.
- Waiting for the pointer: add or fix the CNAME record, then wait. Spreading can take up to an hour or more. Waise checks every 5 minutes by itself.
- Issuing a security certificate: nothing for you to do. It usually takes a few minutes.
- Failed: disconnect and connect again, or contact support.
Then check the usual mistakes
- The name field has only the first part (for example www), not the whole domain.
- The value was pasted without spaces.
- No other record at the registrar uses the same name (A or CNAME). Delete the old one.
- On Cloudflare, the cloud next to the record is grey (DNS only).
The What we found box explains in words what Waise saw. Use Check again after each fix, or Ask Pulse and Pulse walks you through your registrar step by step.
Tip Your store keeps working on its free Waise address while you sort this out.
Still stuck? Write to help@waise.app or choose Talk to a person from Pulse, which opens a ticket.
Questions
My live address stopped working. Why?
A record at your registrar may have been changed or removed. Waise keeps checking live addresses. Open the screen to see what it found, and fix the record it names.
