How do I get a notification when I get an order?
Turn on notifications for your phone or computer in Settings → Alerts, or add Telegram or Slack. On an iPhone, add the admin to the Home Screen first.
Step by step
- On a phone, open your admin in the browser. On an iPhone, open it in Safari, tap Share, choose Add to Home Screen, and open the admin from the new icon. Notifications on an iPhone only work from that icon.
- Open Settings → Alerts → App and alerts.
- Under Notifications, choose Turn on notifications and allow them when the browser asks.
- Check that a sample notification arrives in a few seconds. It shows how a new order will look.
You turn notifications on for each device you use. A new order shows the amount and the name the moment someone buys, even when the site is closed. The same screen lets you choose which alerts you want.
Telegram and Slack
The shop owner can also send alerts to a Telegram bot or to Slack, under Settings → Alerts → What is sent, to whom. For Telegram, create a bot with @BotFather, paste the bot token, and send your new bot any message.
If it does not work
- If notifications are blocked in this browser, click the icon next to the address bar, choose Notifications, then Allow.
- If the screen says notifications are not open on the server yet, the problem is on Waise's side. Write to help@waise.app.
Tip A red bar at the top of the admin says No alert is reaching anyone when no device is registered and no channel is set up. It goes away once you turn notifications on.
