How is the Waise admin laid out?

Six areas along the bottom, tabs across the top, and a top bar with search, New, updates and help. Here is what each one does.

The six areas

A rounded bar of areas floats along the bottom of the screen, on a computer and on a phone. Each area is a question about your business:

Every area is there from the first day. A red number on an area shows how many things wait there. Pressing an area opens the last screen you used in it. Pressing the area you are already in takes you back to its main screen.

Tabs across the top of the page

The screens of the area you are in appear as tabs across the top. Where one tab holds several screens, they show as a switch at the top of the page. In Help we write a path like this: Sales → Shipping → Shipping labels.

The top bar

Pulse

Pulse is the assistant inside the admin. Open it from the middle of the bottom bar on a phone, or press Ctrl+. (Cmd+. on a Mac). Press ? on your keyboard, when you are not typing in a field, to see all shortcuts. For more, see Ask Pulse.

Tip Every screen has a short video lesson. Open ? → Video lessons on every screen.

Questions

A screen I am looking for is not in the menu.

Search finds every screen. You can also open My account and choose Show every screen. Menus hide a screen only when it has nothing in it and nothing to start it.
