How do I add PayPal, bank transfer or cash?
Offer PayPal, a bank transfer or wire, or cash beside card payments, and confirm the money when it arrives.
Step by step
- Open Settings, then Payment methods.
- For a bank transfer or cash, open the card called Bank transfer and cash (Israeli stores see Transfer, Bit and cash) and switch on the method you want. For Bank transfer or wire, fill in the account holder, the bank, the routing number and the account number.
- Under the shared settings, choose how many hours an order waits for payment (from 12 to 168; stock is held meanwhile) and add an optional note for buyers, such as pickup terms.
- For PayPal, open the PayPal card. On PayPal’s developer site go to Apps & Credentials, create an app, and copy its Client ID and Secret into Waise.
- Press Connection test. Test with a sample purchase while Test mode (Sandbox) is on, then switch it off to go live with real keys.
- When a buyer pays by transfer or cash, the order waits. Open Orders, find it under Awaiting payment approval, and confirm once the money has arrived.
These methods sit beside card payments or can replace them. A bank transfer has no terminal fee: the buyer gets your account details, and the order waits until you confirm the money arrived.
A PayPal link option (a PayPal.me link or your PayPal account email) is a manual method in the same card as bank transfer. The PayPal card above it is the full checkout connection with keys.
Note While Test mode (Sandbox) is on, PayPal is not shown to shoppers on your live store. Switch it off and use live keys to offer PayPal.
There is also a Crypto (NOWPayments) card. Real-money crypto payments are switched on by Waise only after the connection has been tested end to end, so until then shoppers don’t see it even if you have entered your keys.
Tip Under Symbols shown on the site you choose which payment marks appear in the cart, on product pages and in the footer. Tick only what you really accept.
Questions
Does Waise take a cut when a buyer pays by bank transfer?
No. The money goes from the buyer to your account. Waise only records that you confirmed it.
Are Bit and PayBox available to US stores?
No. They are Israeli apps and are offered to Israeli stores only.
