How many Pulse conversations does my plan include?
Each plan has a monthly Pulse allowance. Here is what you get, how to see what is left, and what happens when it runs out.
Pulse is included in every plan, with a monthly number of conversations. The allowance renews on the 1st of each month.
- Basic: 100 conversations a month
- Growth: 400 conversations a month
- Pro: 1,500 conversations a month
- Company: 5,000 conversations a month
These are the plan defaults; the pricing page always shows the numbers in force. Some answers use more of the allowance than others, so the count is a guide. Pulse shows it in conversations, never in dollars.
Where you see what is left
A bar under the head of the Pulse window shows your plan, the percent used, about how many conversations are left and when it renews. From 80% Pulse tells you once a month and offers a Pulse pack; "Got it" puts the note away.
When the allowance runs out
- Fixed commands keep working because they are answered from your data without a model, for example "orders today", "low stock" or "mark 1042 shipped".
- On some stores Pulse switches to an economy mode and keeps answering with a lighter model, within a small daily limit. The bar says so and gives the date the full allowance returns.
- Your shoppers' chat and your automations keep running. They do not draw from Pulse's allowance.
Getting more
- Add a Pulse pack on the subscription screen (Settings, then Subscription), in the panel "Marketing emails and messages". The button reads "Pulse: about N more conversations" with its price, so you see the cost before you buy.
- Move to the next plan. The used-up card shows how many times more Pulse it carries.
- Connect your own key under Pulse settings. Then the provider bills you directly. See Pulse settings.
Waise does not charge for going over by itself. Add-ons are charged on the monthly bill only up to a monthly add-on limit that you set, and that limit is 0 by default, so by default nothing beyond the allowance is charged.

Does the shopper chat use my Pulse allowance?
No. The shopper chat has its own allowance. See Pulse answering shoppers.
Do unused conversations carry over to next month?
The monthly allowance renews on the 1st. A Pulse pack you bought is separate and is used after the monthly allowance.
