My monthly charge didn’t go through
Your store never closes because of a failed charge. Waise retries the card for ten days, and paying clears everything at once.
When the monthly charge fails, Waise tells you at once by email, and a banner on the Subscription screen says The monthly charge did not go through. The fix is the button Update card and pay, which saves a working card and pays what is owed.
What happens, day by day
- Day 0: you get an email and see the banner. The store works as usual.
- Days 1, 3, 5 and 7: Waise tries the card again, and sends an email each time.
- From day 7: editing in your admin is paused until you pay. The store itself stays open and keeps selling.
- From day 10: checkout switches to leave your details until you pay. The store itself is open, and all your data is kept.
The storefront never closes because of a failed charge, and nothing is deleted. Paying, or a retry that goes through, clears every restriction at once.
Common reasons
- The card expired or was replaced by your bank.
- The bank asked for extra confirmation (such as 3-D Secure) that couldn’t happen without you. Paying from the Subscription screen lets you confirm.
Tip If it still fails with a good card, write to help@waise.app and mention the date of the failed charge.
Questions
Will shoppers be able to buy while this is unresolved?
Yes, until day 10. From day 10, checkout collects their details instead of payment until you pay.
