How does the free trial work, and how many orders can I take?
The trial is 14 days with no credit card to start. During it a store can take up to 5 real orders. Here is what shoppers see at the limit.
Every new store starts with a free trial. At the time of writing it is 14 days with no credit card to start. The sign-up page always shows the current offer, so check it there.
Everything works during the trial
You can build the store, connect payments and publish. The one limit is the number of real orders: a store in its trial takes up to 5 paid orders. This is enough to test the whole path from checkout to shipping, and not enough to run a business for free. Imported orders do not count. Only sales made in your store do.
What shoppers see at the limit
When the limit is used up, checkout shows: This store is in its launch week and has taken all the orders it can for now. We would love to take your order in a day or two.
Saving a card with Waise
When Waise billing is switched on for your store, you save a card with Waise before shoppers can pay. Until then, checkout collects their details as a request instead, the same as in preview mode. Shoppers pay your own payment provider. Their money never goes through Waise.
Plans and what they cost are in Plans and pricing.
Questions
Can I take more than 5 orders during the trial?
No. The cap applies while the store is in its trial. It is lifted when the trial ends and your plan billing begins.
