How do I add a page or a blog post?
Create content pages such as FAQ or About, and blog articles that bring in readers from Google, then publish them.
Step by step
- For a page, open Store → Pages and blog → Content pages and click "+ New page". For a blog article, click New in the top bar and choose "Blog post", or open the Blog list and click "+ New article".
- Type a name or title and click "Create".
- Write the content in the "Write" tab. The "Preview" tab shows how it will look.
- For a blog article, fill in the excerpt, author, tags and cover image. Optionally pick "The product this article promotes".
- Fill in the SEO title and meta description if you want to control what Google shows.
- Click "Save". For a blog article, click "Preview" to check it and then "Publish".
Content pages
The pages table shows every page, its address and an "Edited in" column:
- "Edited here": what you save in the page editor is what the store shows.
- "Built in the store editor": the page is made of sections. Text written in the page editor is not shown. Click "Open the store editor" and edit it there.
- "Settings only": a settings and SEO record with no address of its own.
A new page lives at /pages/ followed by its address, which you can change in the page editor. It does not appear in your menu until you add it. See the main menu.
Blog
A blog article stays a draft until you click "Publish". "Hide" moves a published article back to draft without deleting it. The "Blog" tab shows in the menu once you have created your first article.
Note Policy pages such as terms and privacy are prepared by Waise as templates. If an AI edits one, the page shows who approved it. The wording is not legal advice and you answer for it. See store policies.
Questions
I wrote on a page but the text does not show in the store.
Check the "Edited in" column. If it says "Built in the store editor", the page is made of sections, so edit it in the store editor.
