Why enter what each product costs me?
Cost per unit is what lets Waise show real profit, not only revenue. Enter it on each product, or for all products at once in Store → Product costs.
Cost per unit is what you pay for one unit, not what the customer pays. The customer never sees it. Without it, no report can say how much you earned, only how much you sold.
Where to enter it
- One product: on the product screen, in Price, cost and stock. Under each option you see a sum of what is left for you from one sale, after cost, shipping, packaging and fees.
- All products: Store → Product costs shows one table, a row per option, with Cost per unit and Shipping per unit. Fill what is missing and choose Save. At the top, What needs attention counts the options with no cost and the offers that sell at a loss.
Cost by quantity
If your supplier gives a lower price for larger quantities, add a cost tier on the product screen: Cost tier, with From quantity and Cost per unit, then Save tier. Tiers save at once and keep a history.
Profit at full price and on a live offer
The Product costs table also shows Profit at full price and Lowest profit on a live offer. The second checks the cost against the cheapest price the unit really sells at today: a quantity offer, a kit, a cart upsell, or a combination.
When a cost is entered, Waise checks every price against it. A price, offer or coupon that would take a sale below the minimum multiplier (price divided by cost, 3 by default) opens a window called Below the minimum multiplier. You can cancel and fix it, or write a reason and choose Save anyway. The reason is logged.
