How do I report a store or content that breaks the rules?
Write to abuse@waise.app with the store's address and what is wrong. Copyright complaints follow the notice steps in the terms.
Step by step
- Write an email to abuse@waise.app.
- Put the store's web address in the message, either its waise.app shop address or its own domain. This lets Waise link your report to the right store.
- Say what is wrong, where you saw it, and when. Add screenshots or links if you have them.
- Send it. The Waise team reads reports in its support inbox, where they are tagged as abuse. A reply comes by email to the address you wrote from.
A report to abuse@waise.app becomes a ticket in the team's support inbox, tagged as abuse. When the report names a store's address, the ticket is linked to that store, so the team can review it and, if needed, pause the store. Replies keep the same ticket number in the subject, so your answer to a reply lands on the same ticket.
Your report is not shown to the store it is about. A report is a separate matter from your own store's support requests.
Copyright, trademark and other rights
For a copyright complaint, Waise's terms (section 12a, "Copyright and takedown (DMCA)") ask for a notice with: your signature; the work you claim is infringed; the material and its web address; your address, phone and email; a statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorized; and a statement under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act. Send it through the contact details in the terms. Waise removes or disables the material and tells the merchant. A merchant can send a counter-notice, and Waise may restore the material unless the complainant files a court action within 10 business days. Trademark and other rights complaints go to the same address.
Tip If you are a merchant being reported, see What can't I sell on Waise? for the rules and write to help@waise.app if you think a decision was wrong.
