How do I change my plan?
Switch to a bigger or smaller plan from the Subscription screen. The store moves to the new plan in a few seconds.
Step by step
- Open Settings, then Subscription.
- In the Plan panel, look at the plans. Yours is marked Your plan, and the one that fits your usage best is marked Best value for you.
- Press Switch to this plan on the plan you want. You can also press Switch to the next plan from the Usage this month panel.
- Wait a few seconds. The screen says the plan changed and the store is moving to it.
A change applies at once, and the new quotas are yours straight away. There is no fee on orders on any plan, so a change affects only your monthly price and your quotas.
What you pay when you change
- Monthly billing: an upgrade is used from the moment you make it, so the charge for that billing period is based on the highest plan you held during it.
- Annual billing: an upgrade is charged at once for the difference up to the end of your paid term, worked out by the day. A downgrade is credited, and the credit comes off your next charges. If the card can’t be charged for an upgrade, the plan doesn’t change.
Going to a smaller plan
If you have more of something than the smaller plan allows, such as automations or discount codes, what already runs keeps running. The next one is saved as a draft until you upgrade or free a slot. Team members keep their access. See What happens when I use up a monthly quota?.
Note You can’t change plans after the subscription is cancelled. Press Renew subscription first.
Tip If the button shows Awaiting approval instead, your upgrade request went to the Waise team and the plan changes when they approve it. You’ll see it on this screen.
Questions
Can I switch to annual billing?
Yes. When your subscription is active, the Subscription screen offers Switch to annual: 12 months for the price of 10. A founder price is monthly billing only.
