Where can I see my customers and what they bought?
Sales → Customers lists everyone who bought or started to, with segments, search and tags. Each customer card shows orders, activity, notes and consent.
Customers appear after their first purchase. Someone who filled in checkout and never paid appears with an unpaid attempt.
The list
- At the top: Revenue, Average order, Customer value (revenue divided by buyers) and Returning buyers. They count paid orders only.
- Segments: All, Returning, VIP (spent at least twice the average customer), Dormant (bought before, nothing in the last 90 days), Never bought, and Opted into marketing. Duplicates to check appears when there are any.
- Search by name, email, phone or tag, filter by tag and sort. Export to Excel downloads the list.
The customer card
- Contact details: email, phone, other emails and phones, last address, and Marketing: Approved or Not opted in.
- Tags and Internal note: tags such as Returning customer, Wholesale or Do not contact, and a free note. The customer never sees them.
- Numbers: total spent, orders, average order value and how often they buy. What was bought lists the products.
- All activity and Orders: a timeline of orders, carts, messages, questions and reviews, or a table of orders.
- Reply by email: sends an email from the card and records it in the activity. It needs email sending to be set up for the store.
- Send sign-in link: emails the customer a link to their shop account. It works for 15 minutes.
The same customer twice
If the same phone number appears under a different email, the card says This may be the same customer. Merge into one customer moves all orders to this card. Choose Not the same person, for example a couple, and Waise stops suggesting it. Undo merge returns the orders to the separate card.
Privacy requests
Under More on the card, Export customer data answers an access request. Erase the customer's details deletes the name, email, phone and addresses everywhere, and keeps order figures without identifying details. It cannot be undone. Waise asks you to type a word to confirm.
Tip Customer club, next to All customers, holds the club settings: tiers, member pricing and a birthday gift for customers with an account.
Questions
Can I send a promotion to all my customers?
Only to those who agreed to marketing. They show with an envelope mark and in the Opted into marketing segment. A customer who clicks unsubscribe in an email leaves that group on their own.
