How does the free trial work?
14 days free with no card to start, up to 5 real orders, and a card saved with Waise to take payments. Saving a card charges nothing today.
A new store starts with a 14-day free trial. You don’t need a card to start. Everything works, and the store can even be published, but it can take at most 5 real orders during the trial. That is enough to try the whole checkout end to end.
Saving a card
To let shoppers pay, save a card with Waise. Open Settings, then Subscription, and press Save a card. Saving a card charges nothing today, and you can cancel any time before the trial ends and pay nothing. Until a card is saved, the checkout collects shoppers’ details instead of payment. See Why does my checkout say “Leave your details”?.
What happens when the trial ends
- US stores: the first paid month costs $1, taken from the saved card. The next two months are $1 as well. From month 4, you pay your plan’s price. The Subscription screen spells this out with your own dates.
- Israeli stores: a one-time setup payment of ₪20 covers the first month. The monthly charge starts in the second month.
- A reminder email reaches you a couple of days before the trial ends.
Note If the trial ends and no card has been saved, the store closes. Your data is kept, and saving a card opens the store again at once.
Tip Orders imported from another platform don’t count toward the trial’s 5 real orders. Only sales made in your Waise store do.
Questions
What happens after the 5 real orders?
Shoppers see that the store is in its launch week and has taken all the orders it can for now. The limit lifts once your first payment goes through.
Can I cancel during the trial?
Yes. Cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing. See How do I cancel my subscription?.
